How to enrol

Selecting St Thomas Aquinas Primary School, will give your child the best opportunity to develop academically, spiritually and socially, and in partnership with Catholic education.


St Thomas Aquinas is accepting enrolments now, for children eligible to commence Kindergarten next year. Enrolment enquiries are also welcome for primary school aged children seeking enrolment during the school year.

School tours can be arranged on request by contacting the school office on 4754 2554 weekdays between 8:30am and 4:00pm.

Step 2:

Review the
enrolment
instructions


Before completing the Enrolment Application, read the Enrolment Instructions and Checklist for relevant supporting documents required in the Enrolment Application Form.


Step 3:

Enrolment
Application

Complete and submit the following enrolment forms:

Enrolment packages containing the Enrolment Instructions, Checklist and Forms are also available to collect from our school office.

The completed Enrolment Application, together with all requested supporting documentation, must be submitted, in person, to our school office. Please be aware that we are unable to accept or process incomplete applications and note that submitting an application does not guarantee automatic placement.


Step 4:

Enrolment
Interview

All students seeking enrolment at St Thomas Aquinas Primary School are required to attend an interview. Once the Enrolment Application has been submitted, our Enrolment Officer will contact you to schedule an interview. The enrolling student and at least one parent/carer are required to attend the interview.


Step 5:

Enrolment
Acceptance

We will advise the outcome of your application in writing shortly after the interview.

If you receive a Letter of Offer, you are required to return the Enrolment Acceptance Form and pay the $100 non-refundable Enrolment Deposit by the requested date to secure your position. This deposit contributes towards your first term school-based fees.


Enrolment Policy

St Thomas Aquinas Primary School has been established to cater especially for the communities immediately in the vicinity of St Thomas Aquinas Primary School. Enrolment procedures will be followed to ensure that priority is given to families who share and support the special character of our Catholic schools. A priority order will be followed that supports:

  • a strong parish faith community
  • the Gospel priority to support those in need
  • priority to religious education
  • parent/school partnership and a caring community
  • a strong Parent Group actively promoting the goals of the school

The Bishop Manning Scholarship Fund provides full or part scholarships to assist families in financial need who desire a Catholic education for their children, but for whom the cost is out of reach. Normal school enrolment criteria apply. Contact your local Catholic school to learn more or visit the Bishop Manning Scholarship Fund.
