Principal's Message

I am proud to welcome you to St Thomas Aquinas Primary Springwood, where we are learning, working and growing together.

At St Thomas Aquinas we are proud to offer our students and their families more than a place at a school - we welcome them into a dynamic learning community that has a strong foundation in faith. We work in collaboration with students and their families to deliver a quality education that empowers students to become independent, responsible learners.

We believe that every child is capable of achieving their personal goals and our aim is to ensure that our students do so while feeling safe, happy and cared for. A St Thomas Aquinas education is comprehensive and takes into account the intellectual, spiritual, physical, social, and emotional aspects of each child.

I encourage you to visit our learning spaces, designed to support collaborative learning, integrate technology resources and enhance student experiences. Visitors to our school witness our experienced and passionate educators working together to create the best learning opportunities for their students. All this takes place in a tranquil, welcoming and relaxed environment with the natural beauty of our grounds providing a perfect backdrop to our daily activities.

We have a history of outstanding academic achievement and a reputation for committed participation in many extracurricular areas. Every student is given the chance to showcase their particular talents, skills and interests.

As a Catholic school the pastoral care of our students and families is a focus for us, and this is reflected in our school motto Love One Another. Our Catholic faith is modelled and explicitly taught throughout the school day, allowing the students' spirituality to be nurtured.

We are confident that our school can make a lasting difference in the life of your child.
